Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Cases

Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases involve the legal principal of negligence. In other words, the party who injured you failed to meet the standard of care that he or she should have. Otherwise, you would not have been injured.

Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Cases: These types of cases commonly involve accidents with cars, trucks, trains, planes, boats or pieces or equipment that were either not operated properly by the driver or were not constructed, designed or maintained properly resulting in your serious injury. If you or a friend are injured it is best not to discuss settlement with an insurance company or sign any papers provided by an insurance agent until after your case has been reviewed by me. I will be pleased to review the facts of your case and provide you with a fair analysis of your chances for a large financial award. There would never be a fee paid to my office unless and until we obtain a financial recovery for you by either settlement or trial.

The Statute of Limitations for a personal injury negligence case is four (4) years. Always remember that it is wise to obtain the names, addresses and phone numbers or all witnesses to the injury as these people can be extremely helpful to us at the time of trial. If you have not yet sought treatment at a hospital or through a doctor, please contact my office and I will see that you get the treatment that you require. It is also wise to maintain a Pain Journal noting the pain that you suffer daily.

Medical Malpractice Cases: These cases involve doctors, hospitals, dentists or other medical professionals who may have neglected to treat you properly thereby resulting in your injury. These cases require careful review as there are significant restrictions placed upon the patient and his or her lawyer in attempting to recover an award that was caused by the negligence of a medical professional.

The Statute of Limitations on a Medical Malpractice case is two (2) years. Therefore, it is important to contact me quickly after you learn that you have been the victim of Medical Malpractice.

The best practice is to call my office to schedule a conference as soon as possible. As with all personal injury cases there will be no fee paid to my office unless and until we obtain a financial recovery for you by either settlement or trial.

It never hurts to get my opinion on your case.
